Mandatory Game-Ready Clinic for SMS Referees

There will be a mandatory “game ready” clinic for all referees who plan on working recreation soccer games in St. Mary's County for SMS. Please come GAME READY to only one of the clinic dates. That means you must be wearing your complete uniform and you must bring your referee gear bag to the clinic. Remember your whistle, pen, flags, score book, etc. 

Referees must sign in with me so I know who has attended the clinic. 

The dates of the scheduled mandatory clinics are:

Saturday Aug 13CRRP10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Sunday Aug 14, Lettie Dent, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Referee Recertification Clinic at CRRP on August 6th, 2016

Referee Recertification Clinic for the 2017 badge will be held on Saturday, 6th August 2016, at Chancellor's Run Regional Park from 10:00-3:00.

Game Assignments
Do not forget to check emails daily and confirm/decline games ASAP.  If games are not accepted within 2 days of being posted on Arbiter Sports, the games will be reassigned to another referee. Please remember that referees are required to show up at the field, game ready, 30 minutes before the game begins.

Any individuals interested in becoming a soccer referee can obtain information here.

To register for a referee entry level course, click on this link and select Great Mills (or another location). Please note that the next course at Great Mills will be held in November 2016 (after the fall season).  If you want to referee in the fall of 2016, you will need to register for a class that is being held during the summer months.
